When you pursue a life’s dream, when you reinvent your life, there are often some surprises you never anticipated. In this delightful read, Paula Moulton trades her city life for the simpler, country life. Ha! Share her adventures and misadventures as she trades Jimmy Choo’s for Wellies and triumphs over the many obstacles that materialize as she coaxes a vibrant harvest from dust. Imagine my surprise while savoring each chapter when I reached Chapter 11 which featured my neighbor! If you’ve ever dreamed of being an integral part of the romance of the wine industry, you won’t want to miss a page!
Pattie recently reviewed this new product herself because she thinks it’s the best idea she has seen in a very long time. For those of you who have always rolled up or used rubber bands to keep your sleeves out of the way when cooking, gardening, cleaning, or whatever…you will LOVE these!!! These are without a doubt the best hostess, birthday, or any other holiday gift ever! www.kitchenkuffs.com
A fun read and a unique idea. It’s all about how you can stay hip by “stealing” your daughter’s cool fashion ideas and adapting them for yourself! Check it out at www.sherriemathieson.com
Pattie Heisser, Founder & President of 50+Fabulous was recently introduced to Catherine Jane and her fashion designs at her shop in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights. What a treat! Catherine is not only a warm, creative, and smart entrepreneur…her creations are sumptuous. Pattie highly recommends that you give her a visit at either of her California shops located in San Francisco and Mill Valley. For those of you who live outside California, her fashions are available on-line at www.CatherineJane.com. She’s…well…FABULOUS!

One of our experts gave Night Sweatz Yoga Cami pajamas the thumbs up. “I think they are really cute. I love the lightweight fabric and it is so soft. The main thing is that I was NOT so hot. I still had night sweats but cooled off more quickly and the PJs stayed completely dry. They will be a godsend when the weather warms up. They will be my “go to PJs” this summer for sure!”

Our Financial Expert, Denise Hughes, reviewed Jean Newell’s “giZmo” bag and found that it could be used in many ways!
• Perfect to organize your checkbook, pen, receipts and a small calculator.
• It makes a great little “money bag” for people that save receipts to track their cash flow.
• Can also be used as a make-up pouch
• Might be used as a good doggie bag when I walk the dogs. It could hold those useful plastic bags, some treats and a cell phone.
• Also, could use as a hiking pouch to carry a trail map, a power bar, a pen and a small journal.
Tall, dark, handsome AND a great big Greek handful are the words that came to mind when I recently read Patricia’s Fabulous new book, Harlot’s Sauceabout her marriage’s roller-coaster ride. I’m sure many women will be able to relate to the challenges she faced within a multi-cultural marriage, and moving to a foreign country, learning a new language, and starting her own business.
I looked forward to reading a couple of chapters every night and didn’t want to see it end. She became the girlfriend you cheer on, cry with, and just plain enjoy. She’s brave, she’s very funny, and she’s written what is destined to become a best seller.

Pattie was amused when she received the “pizza box” for review from company owners, Iris Feinberg and Lynn Epstein, both of Atlanta, because it made such a fun presentation. Upon her review of the product, she wanted to get the word out as soon as possible because this would make an excellent Holiday gift for grandchildren, kids moving into their first apartments or for anyone that just doesn’t know how to cook.
The recipes are healthy (hence the title: No more frozen pizzas), require few ingredients, have easy preparation instructions and even tell them what equipment they will need.
Delightfully packaged in an authentic looking pizza box, each pizza shaped recipe card has a color photograph of each prepared recipe. Pattie highly recommends this fun and useful new product!
