hi pattie!
my life has also been turned upside down this year!
my husband retired, we went through all the adjusments, i thought,i felt after the slump of the economy,we were in trouble big time!
i found a part time job, that helps with the income…
its been very difficult for us on that part, but iam learning new ways to shop, working a budget, and doing things altogether different now, but were paying off debts, and getting through ok!
the worse thing, my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer back in augest of this year…
that was very hard on us all to accept, but, we have, and she is doing great, she had a masstecomy in september, and is in chemo now..
this has been a rollocoster of a year, and iam finding out how strong a person i realy am…
so yes, iam going forward with my life!

Know that you are not alone Bren. Many of we mid-life women are experiencing life as never before and having to come up with solutions and pull from strengths we’d forgotten we had! I’ve started using a new word “multipreneur.” Many women are wearing a lot of different hats just to get through this challenging time. But, you know what? We’ve ALWAYs worn many hats so we have lots of practice.
When people we love are in trouble, especially in the area of health, there is so much that is out of our hands…where we have no control. That’s hard. But, we can lend loving support. I wish the best to you and your daughter. Medical technology has saved many of our lives and they continue to make advances every day. You are an inspiration!!
