I looked in my closet several months ago, did a personal wardrobe assessment, and to put it bluntly, “freaked out.” I realized that somewhere between leaving the corporate business world, moving to California’s Wine Country with it’s casual lifestyle, and starting 50+Fabulous with hours in front of the computer, I was no longer focused on looking…well…Fabulous!
I asked Michele Benza, our Style Expert on 50Fabulous.com and who specializes in and epitomizes European elegance, if she would agree to help me and therefore all of the visitors to our site, attain a new Fabulous look…on a budget most of us could afford. Happily, she agreed!
Unlike the diaries we had as girls, to start at the beginning, you’ll need to scroll down to the entry titled “In the Beginning.”
It is my hope that as I candidly blog my own makeover, you too will learn right along with me. This is an interactive blog and I’d love to hear your stories, comments and ideas. And, a little cheerleading along the way would really help. Here we go!

As I said in the intro, I realized that somewhere between leaving the corporate business world, moving to California’s Wine Country with it’s casual lifestyle, and starting 50+Fabulous with tons of time in front of the computer, I was no longer focused on looking…well…Fabulous!
