Caregiving
Caregiving: Many of us find ourselves smack in the middle of caring for an elderly parent with no preparation, no tools, and no information. We find ourselves navigating a complex medical system as an advocate, interacting with elder attorneys on behalf of our parent/s and being responsible for their finances as well. Now we have an expert with heavy hitting credentials to help us on this unfamiliar journey.
I’d like to introduce Carolyn Rosenblatt, R.N., B.S.N., and Attorney who practiced nursing for 10 years before becoming an attorney, working in nursing homes, hospitals, and as a visiting nurse. During that time, she helped thousands of aging patients and their families. As a lawyer for 30 years, she has represented hundreds of individuals, including elderly clients and those who care for them. In 2005, she started her “encore career”, as a founder of AgingParents.com together with her husband, clinical psychologist, Dr. Mikol Davis.
