50+Fabulous announced today that its website, http://www.50fabulous.com/, for boomer women has undergone a facelift, offering new features requested by its audience that take advantage of new technology. The lifestyle website built by and for 50+ women inspires and motivates women 50 years of age and above to renew their sense of self, go after and achieve their dreams, turbo charge their lives, and break down barriers for future generations of women. 

“50Fabulous.com targets women 50 and over – or what I like to refer to as boomers and beyond – and offers them the current information, tools, and support for our 50+ lifestyles,” said Pattie Heisser, Founder & President of 50+Fabulous. “Whenever we hear 50 is the new 30, our internal dialog goes something like…yeah, right! Our website facelift provides this vital community with information tailored specifically to their needs, including a place to share their experiences and wisdom.”

New website features include:

• Community where boomer women can meet new friends, share the fun and challenges of life after 50 and support one another every step of the way.

Betty Frain, Ph.D., Parenting Expert, is a Marriage and Family Therapist, book author, and speaker, based in Sebastopol, California. She appears on the DVD trailer of Paramount’s movie “Failure to Launch,” due to her expertise in the subject of parenting adult children.

Joan Pleuss, MS, RD, Nutrition Expert, is the Bionutritionist for the General
Clinical Research Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW), an instructor at MCW and Mount Mary College, popular speaker, widely published both in academia and industry, works extensively with the American Dietetic Association, and has garnered the Medallion Award, the Wisconsin Dietetic Association’s top honor. She is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.



Dawn Harding, Garden Expert, is a former garden newsletter editor and board member of a prominent garden organization in the San Francisco Bay area. She has relocated to Worthing, England.

Susan Whipple, MA, CPCC, Life & Work Expert, is a popular speaker, workshop leader and certified professional life coach. She is based in Sausalito, Calif.

Basia Gentry, Fitness Expert, was born in Paris, educated at the Sorbonne and University of Illinois and has been featured in both Oxygen and Ms. Fitness Magazines. She is a NSCA certified personal fitness trainer, aerobic, and mat Pilates instructor specializing in adult and senior fitness since 1997.
