Carolyn L. Rosenblatt, R.N., B.S.N., Attorney at Law earned her nursing diploma from O’Connor Hospital School of Nursing, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of San Francisco, and her law degree, Juris Doctor, from the University of San Francisco
Ms. Rosenblatt practiced nursing for 10 years before becoming an attorney, working in nursing homes, hospitals, and as a visiting nurse. During that time, she helped thousands of aging patients and their families. Her experience in problems of aging is extensive. She is familiar with chronic illness, disability, pain, family dynamics and end of life issues.
Ms. Rosenblatt practiced nursing for 10 years before becoming an attorney, working in nursing homes, hospitals, and as a visiting nurse. She spent 27 years as a litigator and trial attorney, vigorously advocating for the rights of individuals. In 2005, she started her “encore career”, as a founder of AgingParents.com together with her husband, clinical psychologist, Dr.Mikol Davis. They consult with individuals and institutions about how to solve problems of aging family members, they mediate family disputes, and provide many informational products and resources for boomers such as themselves. Ms. Rosenblatt authored The Boomer’s Guide to Aging Parents, published in 2009, to offer legal and healthcare advice to those who are caring for aging loved ones. Ms. Rosenblatt and Dr. Davis have been married for 27 years, going strong. They have two grown children, and a remaining 86 year old parent. Like many of their fellow boomers, they have lost parents, and dealt with the many ups and downs of seeing loved ones age and need their help.
Their mission is to use their combined 70+ years of experience to be of service to the 50+ crowd, of which they are both a part.
