As the sole proprietor of Mary Lynn Interiors for over 15 years, just about every décor challenge was addressed and she now shares that expertise. Her rich tapestry of talent and experience as a teacher, designer and writer make her a uniquely qualified Design Maven. She holds degrees in both Art and English.

In addition to her work with 50Fabulous.com, she is a freelance writer and infopreneur whose articles, stories and business-related copywriting have appeared in both regional newspapers and regional and national magazines. She is the author of two memoirs. The first is Briarhopper: A History—the story of a shy country girl’s odyssey from Kentucky coal country to California, 1913-1945; and her upcoming book, (working title Accidental Cowgirl: Six Cows, No Horse and No Clue)—publication date: Winter, 2006-2007, is a humorous account of her own twelve-year search for the simple life on a horseless cattle ranch.

She is the proud mother of two grown children and grandmother of two grand-dogs, and lives in the country in Northern California with her partner, Carl, and their “pound puppy” lab mix dog, Fizzbo. When she is not writing, she is battling gophers and making her garden grow.
