In her capacity as the Consumer Lifestyle Commentator for the Vermont-based Cabot Creamery Cooperative (www.cabotcheese.coop), Candace writes about health, fitness, lifestyle, and wellness issues as well as representing Cabot at health and fitness events around the country. Cabot, a company with a 90-year history, is owned by the dairy farmers who make up the cooperative and 100% of its profits go back to these farm family owners. Their product line includes award-winning cheeses as well as a selection of reduced fat and Omega-3 DHA cheddars. It is Cabot’s commitment to helping their consumers lead the best lives possible that brought Candace to the company.

In addition to her career as a writer, Candace has dedicated her life to running and fitness. She has run in over 200 road races from Sydney to Shanghai, Israel to Iceland, and cities throughout the United States. She is a veteran of 19 marathons including Boston, New York, and Washington, D.C. Candace is the former Editor at Large for Running Times magazine, where she worked for 10 years and wrote about running and racing as well as yoga, stretching, cross-training, gym workouts, and nutrition.

Candace lives and trains in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. She is Chair of the Board of Trustees for Maine College of Art in Portland and is on the advisory board of Z.A.P. Fitness Foundation in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
