Basia Gentry, featured in both Oxygen and Ms. Fitness Magazines, is a NSCA certified personal fitness trainer, aerobic, and mat Pilates instructor specializing in adult and senior fitness since 1997. She also holds a certificate as a senior personal trainer with the American Senior Fitness Association. In her home state of Indiana, Basia volunteers as a trainer for a group of breast cancer survivors. She helps to prepare the Indy SurviveOars (www.IndySurviveOars.org) by doing dry land training in preparation for dragon boat racing.
Born in Paris, and educated at the Sorbonne and University of Illinois, she is a former high school teacher and TWA flight attendant. She may be contacted at basiabfit@yahoo.com.
