Companies have been slow to recognize the vast potential of the 50+ woman. We want to make sure that business designs and offers products that we want at this time in our lives; and we want to have input on the front end of the decision making process. 50+Fabulous established this award to honor those companies that embrace us as a dynamic force of beautiful and talented women who are breaking barriers for future generations of women.
We invite you to nominate your favorite company for the 50+Fabulous Company Award. The award is presented to those companies that meet one or more of the following criteria:

Chico’s was the first to introduce the concept of apparel designed for mature women, a market that had been heretofore ignored.
Coldwater Creek also offers fashions specifically for the more mature women. And, Ms. Heisser stated that she feels “if they’d done nothing else, they should be applauded based solely on reintroducing jeans made with stretch denim!”
Both L’Oréal and CoverGirl have chosen 50+ women as spokespeople for their brands, therefore, giving the 50+ woman models with whom they may more easily identify.
Dove was recognized based on its “Campaign for Real Beauty,” in which it offers information and tools to build self-esteem for women of any age, size and shape. Of particular note is their “Evolution Film” that addresses how our idea of beauty has become so distorted.
